Job summary

Oplane, based in Malmö, is seeking a senior backend engineer to own the core services and APIs that turn code into threat models and fixes. You will design for scale, reliability, and security in an agent-rich environment.

You’ll work on Python services and enterprise-grade integrations, with emphasis on system design, data flows, and robust interfaces. English is the working language and you’ll collaborate with founders and paying customers from week one.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years building backend systems in production.
• Strong API and data modeling skills with scalable design.
• Ability to reason about AI agent-driven code and risk.
• English as working language and startup mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the core backend and APIs to turn code into threat models and fixes.
• Ensure reliability and security in an agent-driven, scale-at-pace environment.
• Own surface integrations with customer repos, CI, and developers' pipelines.
• Collaborate with founders and enterprise customers.
