Instabee's Orders team is building the core order engine for Europe’s fast-growing delivery platform. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will shape architecture, drive performance, and mentor teammates, with autonomy to influence technical direction.

You’ll work with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Kubernetes and GCP, adopting AI-powered workflows to streamline operations, and collaborate with product managers to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior Backend Engineer with extensive production experience.
• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Deep MongoDB experience with query optimization.
• Cloud experience with Kubernetes and GCP.
• Forward-thinking with AI capabilities and developer automation.
• Strong learning mindset and ability to drive initiatives.
• Excellent English communication to explain architecture.

Responsibilities
