Job summary

Volvo Penta is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support PLM, PDM, Digital Thread and Component Sales initiatives. You will partner with business stakeholders, architects, product managers and developers to detail requirements and define future ways of working.

The role combines business analysis, process development, solution design and delivery support. You will transform complex needs into actionable backlog items, epics and user stories, driving progress across functions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PLM and PDM.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders across functions.
• Able to work independently and drive activities to completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform business analysis and capability assessments.
• Map current and future-state processes, information flows and user needs.
• Gather, analyze and document business requirements.
• Define epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support solution detailing together with architects and development teams.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder discussions.
• Develop process maps, concepts and decision material.
• Support backlog management, prioritization and roadmap activities.
• Drive assigned work items from analysis through implementation support.
• Identify dependencies, risks and decision needs across functions.
• Contribute to change management, communication and adoption activities when required.
