Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB seeks an experienced Lead Engineer - Hardware Release & Configuration in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will drive hardware signing, releases and documentation, coordinate supplier activities, and ensure production readiness across cross-functional teams.

You should have a strong background in automotive hardware development and a degree in Electronics, CS, Automation, or Electrical Engineering, with hands-on experience in ECUs, diagnostics, and HW/SW integration.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive hardware release and configuration management.
• Strong understanding of HW sign-off processes and release documentation.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and coordinating hardware-related reviews.

Responsibilities

• Drive hardware signing and releases according to project milestones.
• Release hardware part numbers and documentation for each milestone.
• Coordinate Design Reviews and ensure alignment across HW teams.
• Coordinate and participate in Supplier Hardware Joint Reviews (HWJR).
• Support manufacturing/production with hardware releases and deviations.
• Maintain structured, traceable hardware configuration throughout development.
