Job summary

ComAp is seeking an energetic Technical and Sales Application Engineer to join the Gothenburg team, supporting the Scandinavian market. The role focuses on knowledge of ComAp products, configuring and programming control systems across multiple industries, with travel across Scandinavia.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
3+ years in a similar technical role.
Familiarity with PLCs or microprocessor-based controls; programming logic.

Responsibilities

Turn-key projects – inspection, installation, commissioning, and configuration of ComAp control systems.
Provide technical support to customers (service trips, training sessions, assistance with configuration for pilot projects).
Troubleshooting, investigating, and solving complex technical issues using simulators and real-world applications.
Creating and reviewing wiring diagrams, schematics, and application documentation.
Working closely with the sales manager and supporting sales activities during customer meetings and business trips.
Conducting in-house and on-site training for new and existing customers.
Traveling to support projects and build relationships with customers across Scandinavia.
