Job summary

Outokumpu is seeking a Senior Analyst in Raw Materials Controlling to join the team in Avesta, Sweden, with flexible options to collaborate across Outokumpu locations in Europe. The role focuses on partnering with RM procurement, building insights, and driving cost transparency in a sustainability-driven manufacturing setting.

You will develop forecasting models, perform variance and scenario analyses, and support strategic sourcing to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in business controlling.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to link activities to financial impact.
• Strong forecasting and performance management skills.
• Excellent analytical, modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven experience in business partnering and influencing stakeholders.
• Effective communication and data storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted business partner for RM procurement team
• Prepare bridges, scorecards and presentations with meaningful insights
• Challenge business assumptions and identify risks and opportunities
• Perform scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses
• Provide financial expertise in business case development to RM procurement
• Design, develop and maintain forecasting models
• Perform variance analysis, cost estimations
• Perform monthly closing processes in a cross functional environment
• Support spread margin steering with cost drivers and sensitivity
• Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights
• Drive initiatives to improve RM cost transparency and forecast accuracy
• Support finance transformation and automation initiatives
