Alignerr seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale AI infrastructure in a fully remote, flexible contract role. You will tackle architecture challenges, write impactful code, and collaborate with top AI researchers and engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java or similar.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design.
• Experience building and deploying backend services, APIs, or data-intensive apps.
• Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and containerized environments.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD workflows and modern dev tooling.
• Excellent written communication and async collaboration skills.
• Self-directed and reliable with strong time management.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software systems for AI training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Write clean, well-tested, and performant code in Python, TypeScript, or similar.
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services at scale.
• Architect solutions balancing delivery speed with long-term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate asynchronously with ML engineers, researchers, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Work independently on well-scoped projects with ownership and autonomy.
