Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking skilled Back End Developers for a fully remote, hourly contract role in Stockholm. You will design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs powering AI products, from data pipelines to scalable microservices.

The role supports distributed teams across time zones, with 10–40 hours per week. You’ll work on data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and high-performance architectures for real-world AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Back-end development using Python/Go/Java/Node.js/Rust
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and cloud platforms

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back end services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI training and inference workloads
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows
• Collaborate with distributed teams asynchronously
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in code reviews
• Work independently on task-based and project-based assignments
