As a Senior AI & Data Engineer at Publicis Intelligence, you will play a key role in our journey towards becoming a more AI-driven consulting and product organization.

The role is highly hands-on and technical, while also having clear strategic impact. You will join a team with strong existing capabilities in data, analytics, MarTech and insights. Generative AI and agent-based solutions are the next major focus area in our development.

You will take technical leadership within GenAI. This includes identifying opportunities, shaping solutions and driving implementations from idea to production. You will work closely with other agencies and technical stakeholders across the organization.

Your mission is to design, build and deploy AI solutions that create real business value, both internally and for our clients. Internally, this means improving efficiency, automation, decision support and new ways of working. Externally, you will help develop AI-driven capabilities that strengthen our clients’ businesses.

You act as the bridge between business needs, strategic goals and technical delivery. You ensure that solutions are robust, scalable and commercially relevant.

This role is based in Stockholm and involves close collaboration with teams in Sweden and Denmark, as well as with Publicis’ global AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for developing and scaling AI and GenAI solutions that deliver clear, measurable business impact for both internal teams and clients. You own AI agents, copilots and LLM-based applications end to end, from design to production. The focus is on efficiency, scalability and the creation of new AI-driven products and services.
• You design and optimize RAG-based solutions that unlock value from internal and client data. You ensure data is handled securely and in line with regulatory and contractual requirements. By choosing the right models, tools and architectures, you deliver high-quality solutions with strong performance, cost efficiency and reliable outcomes in production.
• Beyond hands-on delivery, you act as a technical advisor and enabler. You help teams and clients turn AI potential into concrete, implementable solutions. You also contribute to the development of new AI-driven products across data, analytics and MarTech.
• You play a key role in building AI maturity across the organization. This includes sharing knowledge, mentoring others and driving innovation within GenAI and MLOps. You help shape best practices that allow the organization to scale and evolve its AI capabilities over time.

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ML Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar technical roles, and are comfortable operating across the full lifecycle of data- and AI-drive systems.
• Extensive experience in designing data pipelines, and proficiency in SQL, Python, and spark.
• You have proven experience with cloud architecture and implementing scalable data infrastructure and solutions.
• You have a strong grasp of API design, system integration, and service-based architecture, and the ability to connect AI components into larger technical ecosystems.
• You are used to working independently in technically complex and ambiguous environments, taking responsibility for architecture, implementation, and delivery without relying on detailed roadmaps.
• You also have experience with MLOps / AI Ops practices.
