Job summary

Benifex is seeking an experienced accountant for a six-month fixed-term role in Stockholm to support accounting and financial reporting across Benifex entities. You will handle month-end close, IFRS financial statements, and balance-sheet governance while collaborating with group finance, external agencies, and auditors.

The role emphasizes strong technical accounting, process improvement, and effective communication across finance and commercial teams in a changing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualification experience in financial accounting.
• Proven NetSuite experience and IFRS knowledge.
• Strong month-end close and balance-sheet reconciliation skills.
• Experience preparing IFRS financial statements.
• Ability to translate business activity into accounting outcomes.
• Fluent in English and Swedish; capable of working across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting for Benifex legal entities and prepare IFRS financial statements.
• Deliver month-end close activities to meet deadlines.
• Own monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and substantiation.
• Coordinate with accounting agencies across jurisdictions for timely reporting.
• Maintain and improve internal financial-control framework.
• Document processes and remediate control gaps and audit findings.
• Contribute to ERP changes and finance-system improvements (NetSuite).
• Explain results to finance and commercial teams and answer accounting queries.
• Support tax and treasury activities including transfer pricing documentation.
