Job summary

Svea Solar Utility is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our expanding Finance team in Sweden. You will oversee bookkeeping for multiple entities, ensure timely monthly and year-end closes, and contribute to group reporting.

We value Swedish GAAP (K3) expertise, strong process improvement mindset, and fluent English and Swedish communication. You will have autonomy to shape reporting practices and participate in AI-driven efficiency projects.

Qualifications

• Senior accounting experience with strong reporting background.
• Proven knowledge of Swedish GAAP K3 and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and intercompany flows.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for bookkeeping for assigned business units within Svea Solar Utility.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year-end close.
• Monthly Group reporting and quarterly consolidated reporting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform P&L analysis and accruals.
• Manage VAT reconciliations, filings and EU reporting where applicable.
• Participate in annual reports and audits; support bank administration and liquidity monitoring.
• Contribute to process improvements and AI-driven automation initiatives.
