Job summary

SSC Space is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and modernize security capabilities across cloud and infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of architecture, engineering, operations, and cloud, turning security requirements into practical implementations.

You will strengthen SSC's technical security foundations by designing, deploying, integrating, and enhancing security services, platforms, and controls, moving security earlier into projects and engineering processes

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong technical background in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.
• Several years of experience within security engineering, cloud security, infrastructure security, or cybersecurity consulting.
• Experience implementing security tools and platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls and security platforms.
• Improve technical security capabilities across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Support the implementation of secure-by-design principles across SSC.
