Job summary

ABB seeks a Scrum Master to lead the System 800xA Core Team across Västerås and Malmö. You’ll spend half your time planning, tracking, and facilitating team agility, and the rest contributing hands-on as an active team member.

You will own the unified backlog, drive sprint planning and delivery, coach in Agile practices, and collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to continuously improve performance. Fluency in English and Swedish required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/CS/Software development or related field.
Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile practices.
Experience as Scrum Master or Agile coordination preferred; CS M/PSM advantageous.
Excellent communication in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and track all activities across the System Core Team using the team backlog.
Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between the team, Product Owner, and other key stakeholders.
Create, maintain, and monitor the team's delivery plan, ensuring transparency of sprint progress and performance.
Coach and support team members in Agile ways of working, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Facilitate backlog refinement, prioritization, estimation, and sprint planning activities.
Contribute hands-on to team activities while continuously expanding your system-level knowledge and expertise.
Monitor backlog health, including estimation accuracy, sprint commitments, burndown progress, and delivery outcomes.
Ensure clear and effective communication between the team and stakeholders in close partnership with the Product Owner.
Drive alignment with PCP principles and processes while actively identifying and implementing improvements.
