Job summary

AniCura is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to champion safety culture across Scandinavia's veterinary hospitals and clinics. You will translate European HSRS standards into practical routines and work closely with country leaders to embed proactive risk controls.

Based in Stockholm with hybrid arrangements, you will lead inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, and targeted local training while collaborating with MVH Europe teams to share best practices and strengthen everyday

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site safety experience in occupational health and safety.
• Formal health and safety credential (NEBOSH or IOSH) is preferred.
• Fluency in Swedish and English; additional Nordic language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Scandinavia for site visits and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of health, safety, fire, risk, and security standards across Scandinavia, tailoring guidance to each facility.
• Partner with clinic teams to conduct risk assessments and implement safe systems of work.
• Perform proactive H&S audits, regular compliance reviews, and site visits with gap-closure support.
• Lead investigations for incidents and near-misses, and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Develop and deliver core in-house H&S training and collaborate with European peers.
