Job summary

Billerud is seeking a SAP Solution Architect Security to own SAP security architecture and access governance across its SAP landscape. You will collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to design, implement, and govern security models that align with business and regulatory requirements.

The role blends strategic security leadership with hands-on expertise in SAP security, SoD, and identity management, with flexibility on base location in Solna or Sweden mills and travel to Solna as

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Documented experience working with SAP Security and Authorizations.
• Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts, role design, and access governance.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, and regulatory requirements.
• Good understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD), risk management, and internal controls.
• Experience with SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG), SAP GRC, or similar governance tools is considered highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of identity integrations involving SAP solutions, Azure AD, IAS/IPS, or enterprise IAM platforms.
• Understanding of SAP licensing principles and how role design impacts license allocation is an advantage.
• SAP Security or SAP GRC certifications are considered beneficial.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain SAP security architecture, authorization concepts, and access governance processes across SAP platforms.
• Design and optimize roles, authorizations, and identity integrations for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and related solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Segregation of Duties (SoD), internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Support identity and access governance processes, including role lifecycle management, risk analysis, and access provisioning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, auditors, and external partners to secure compliant and scalable solutions.
• Support SAP transformation initiatives by embedding security-by-design principles in projects, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Drive continuous improvements within SAP security, governance, and identity management practices.

As part of Billerud's SAP S/4HANA journey, we are looking for a SAP Solution Architect Security to take overall responsibility for SAP security architecture, authorization concepts, and Identity & Access Governance across our SAP landscape.

About the role

As SAP Solution Architect Security, you will be responsible for shaping and governing SAP security and access management across Billerud's SAP ecosystem. Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, security specialists, and external partners, you will ensure that authorization models, identity integrations, and governance processes support both business requirements and compliance standards.

The role combines strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on expertise in SAP security, access governance, and identity management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business, technology, and risk management.

Your main tasks will be:

• Define and maintain SAP security architecture, authorization concepts, and access governance processes across SAP platforms.
• Design and optimize roles, authorizations, and identity integrations for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and related solutions.

You report to: Manager Global SAP Applications.

While the preferred location for this role is Solna, the position can also be based in one of our mills in Sweden. Frequent travel to our Solna office is an essential part of the role.
