Job summary

Scania is transitioning to a holistic provider of sustainable transport solutions. We are seeking an SAP Manufacturing Project Manager to drive global SAP implementations within the IEB program from Scania HQ in Södertälje, Sweden, with travel as required.

You will define scope, lead Architects and process owners, and coordinate with local teams and SI partners to ensure successful activation, training and hyper care phases across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in relevant competence areas.
• Experience with SAP implementation programs and Scania business processes.
• Open and positive team player with coaching willingness.

Responsibilities

• Define scope for future SAP implementations and manage the template phase.

Central to our success is the implementation of a modern, SAP S4-based system platform, which is the cornerstone of our Industrial ERP Backbone program (IEB). Through IEB, we’re crafting the future of Scania, and you could play a pivotal role in this evolution. Within IEB we are looking for talented colleagues for our project who can contribute to the success of the IEB program in the role of SAP Manufacturing Project Manager.

SAP Project Manager

This role will be allocated in the global IEB program organization working within the Process & Solution area and interacting with Implementation and Support teams. You will be involved in different ongoing SAP global implementations at Scania and facilitate a bridge between our global template organization and implementation teams. You will also work with putting a scope control process in place and the establishment of global standardized End to End processes.

This role will be active in one or multiple of the following areas.

• Production planning and Manufacturing
• Warehousing
• Supply Chain including Material and Transport Planning
• Order, Outbound and Export
• Sourcing and Procurement
• Finance

Main Responsibilities

Be part of defining the scope for future implementations and understand the solution built during template phase. Run a team with Architects, Business process owners, and business receivers. Support the Local implementation Lead role understanding the Activate phases and roles needed to be engaged withing receiving organization. Work closely with local implementation team and the local SI counterpart within the area and support during training, test and hyper care phase.

The roles will be organized in VI organization in IEB with the Project managers responsible for building the global template and managing the SAP scope control.

Your profile

You have a university degree in engineering or equivalent and at least five years’ work experience within relevant competence areas.

Your background can vary but ideal is that you have experience from Scania business processes in relevant area, have been part of SAP implementation program (at Scania or with other clients).

You are open and positive team player with a positive attitude towards problem solving, visualizing easy and understandable ways of working and willing to coach and support colleagues along the journey.

The position is located at Scania’s HQ in Södertälje, Sweden, but we can also consider applicants from other Scania regions. Travel will be required in the role, sometimes for a longer period connected to key program milestones.
