Job summary

SKF is seeking an SAP IBP & Planning Capability Specialist to drive global supply chain planning transformations in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will translate business requirements into scalable, standard-driven solutions and help deploy future planning capabilities.

You bring hands-on SAP IBP experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work across international teams, collaborating with data, technology and process experts in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP IBP in implementation, process/solution design or business support.
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain Planning and its business impact.
• Experience in transformation programmes, ERP implementations or planning solution deployments.
• Experience working in international, cross-functional environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and deployment of SKF's future Supply Chain Planning capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable process and solution designs with a fit-to-standard mindset.
• Contribute to planning template governance, testing, deployment, training and stabilisation.
• Act as a trusted expert in SAP IBP and end-to-end Supply Chain Planning.
• Support the design and optimisation of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning and S&OP.

• Support the design and deployment of SKF's future Supply Chain Planning capabilities.

SAP IBP and planning

• Act as a trusted expert in SAP IBP and end-to-end Supply Chain Planning.
• Support the design and optimisation of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning and S&OP, translating business requirements into sustainable solutions.

Digital Innovation & AI-Enabled Planning

• Explore how AI-enabled capabilities can improve planning efficiency, exception management and decision-making.
• Translate emerging digital and AI capabilities into practical planning use cases and measurable business value.

Continuous improvement and data

• Drive continuous improvement in planning effectiveness, process performance and user experience using operational feedback and performance insights.
• Contribute to process governance, planning data management and scalable, standardised ways of working.

What we are looking for

We believe you can be effective in this role if you have:

• Experience with SAP IBP in implementation, process/solution design or business support.
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain Planning and its business impact.
• Experience from transformation programmes, ERP implementations or planning solution deployments.
• Experience working in international, cross-functional environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technology.

The following would be beneficial

• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning and/or S&OP.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and the interaction between tactical planning and execution.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms.
• Exposure to advanced analytics, AI-enabled planning or forecasting solutions.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Analytics or a related field.
