Job summary

Billerud Finland Oy is seeking an SAP Development Architect to shape the future SAP landscape within a greenfield transformation. You will define architectural standards, guide engineering teams, and ensure SAP solutions align with enterprise architecture and business goals.

The role blends strategic architecture with technical leadership across SAP S/4HANA, CAP, Fiori/UI5, and ABAP, reporting to the Global SAP Applications Manager. Travel to mills in Sweden is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Development Architect, or Lead Developer within SAP environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation programs and transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in ABAP OO, CDS Views, and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Experience developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the SAP development architecture roadmap aligned with business and IT strategies.
• Design end-to-end solutions across SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and integrated systems.
• Establish development frameworks, standards, and best practices including Clean Core and DevOps.
• Drive adoption of modern SAP development paradigms (API-first, event-driven, side-by-side extensions).
• Own and govern development standards across ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, Fiori/UI5, and CAP.
• Provide architectural oversight for SAP programs and guide development teams; support release management and QA.
