Grid Automation is a division in Hitachi Energy that offers automation and communication solutions to critical infrastructure segments such as energy generation, power transmission & distribution, transportation and multiple other industry applications.

We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Infrastructure Specialist (Software Tester) to join our team in the Finnslätten office in Västerås, Sweden.

The role is responsible for managing, maintaining and deploying PowerShop to global units, as well as modelling products in configurators like Camos. The position reports to the Head of Global Sales and Operations Infrastructure, Global Product Group Automation and Communication, Grid Automation.

How you’ll make an impact

• Manual testing of software applications.
• Manage, maintain and deploy PowerShop to global units.
• Model products in Camos development environment.
• Manage and maintain applications such as Camos, PowerShop, SAP, etc.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including internal Sales and Operations units, Product management, Delivery centers, Factories, IT and Supply Chain Management.
• Ensure continuous improvement of processes, tools and performance in line with the Global Product Group Automation & Communication Sales and Operations strategy.

Your background

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
• Experience in software environment (e.g., CPQ modelling, tools and processes) and large data handling and transformation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages considered an asset.
• Ability to learn new tools and domains.
• Experience modelling products in Camos, electrical domain knowledge and SQL knowledge considered advantageous.
