KTH in Stockholm invites applications for a research position in theoretical quantum matter. The successful candidate will collaborate with Thomas Klein Kvorning and other researchers in the program, with freedom to pursue own projects within the group.
Active topics include topological quantum matter via local markers, information lattice dynamics, and Lindblad chaos. The appointment is a special fixed-term contract for up to 4 months, with monthly salary according to agreement.
As a researcher in theoretical quantum matter, you will have considerable freedom to choose your own collaborations and research projects. At the same time, you are expected to collaborate with Thomas Klein Kvorning and other researchers affiliated with his research program.
Some of the research areas currently being actively explored within the program include the characterization of topological quantum matter using local markers, the characterization of quantum dynamics using information lattice techniques, the development of algorithms that exploit the decoupling between local and long-range quantum entanglement, and the characterization of quantum chaos in Lindblad dynamics.
