Job summary

Enginzyme is seeking a Research Assistant for our Process Engineering team in Solna, Stockholm. This one-year onsite position supports the bridge between lab, pilot and commercial scale for our immobilised biocatalysts.

You will contribute hands-on to catalyst testing and process development in a fast-moving R&D environment. The role emphasizes experimental reaction engineering, data generation, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 1+ years of wet lab research experience (academic or industrial).
• Solid foundation in chemical reactor engineering.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with heterogeneous catalysis is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, setup and perform experiments in catalytic reaction engineering.
• Measure catalyst activity, selectivity and stability under varied conditions.
• Identify catalyst deactivation mechanisms through designed experiments.
• Evaluate operating windows for specific chemistries.
• Analyze data and maintain clear, well-documented records.
• Contribute to commissioning and maintenance of lab-scale reactors.
• Create reports and presentations communicating findings.
• Support safe and efficient lab operation.
