Jobgether, partnering with a Sweden-based company, seeks a Software Engineer – Storage to design and scale a high-performance object storage platform. You will work across the stack—from client libraries to storage servers—in a globally distributed, open-source oriented environment.

Expect to tackle distributed systems challenges, improve upload/download reliability, and contribute to APIs, tooling, and deployment infrastructure while delivering observable, reliable storage services for millions

Formación

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including operating Node.js applications in production environments.
• Experience designing, building, or operating highly scalable distributed systems.
• Comfort working across the technology stack including backend development and deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with performance tuning, production troubleshooting, and reliability improvements for distributed services.
• Strong PostgreSQL production experience, including tuning and troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Enhance storage capabilities and support open file formats for analytical data.
• Develop asset optimization to improve delivery speed and performance.
• Expand edge infrastructure and implement features like automatic cache invalidation.
• Improve storage server performance through monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Contribute to open-source storage server components and upstream improvements.
• Drive projects end-to-end from problem definition to deployment and improvement.
