Job summary

Partner Company in Sweden is seeking a Data API Engineer to enhance a PostgreSQL-powered Data API used by developers worldwide. You will work on the PostgREST-based stack, focusing on database connectivity, query performance, new features, and multi-tenant scaling.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional Haskell experience.
Strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge, including PL/pgSQL.
C and systems-level coding ability; Linux debugging experience.
Proven open-source contributions and experience supporting users.

Responsibilities

Improve the PostgreSQL driver and database connectivity.
Develop and extend Data API capabilities with new features.
Analyze incidents, diagnose root causes, and improve reliability and performance.
Enhance observability and monitoring to aid issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges.
Contribute to open-source projects and share improvements with the community.
