Job summary

Inviso partners with a client to recruit an experienced Backend / Platform Engineer for a remote, permanent role. The engineer will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, landing zones, and Kubernetes-based deployments while enhancing observability and reliability in production environments.

The role emphasizes automation, incident response, cost optimization, and production readiness, with a focus on delivering repeatable, scalable platform services for client environments.

Qualifications

• Production cloud infrastructure experience with reliability ownership.
• IaC, landing zones, networking, identity, security, and environment management.
• Kubernetes, containerized workloads, CI/CD, automated deployment.
• Observability with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts.
• Define or support SLOs and postmortems, on-call operations.
• Automate operational tasks with scripts, tools, runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure.
• Develop landing zones and IaC.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve observability with metrics and dashboards.
• Handle incident response and on-call readiness.
