Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AML Investigator based in Sweden to protect the integrity of a global digital asset trading environment. You will investigate unusual activities, assess money-laundering risks, and determine reporting requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international Compliance group.

Qualifications

• Experience in an investigative role within financial services, crypto, or regulatory compliance.
• Deep knowledge of AML, including CDD/EDD, AML/CTF investigations, sanctions screening, and SAR/STR reporting.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs or Elliptic.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, crypto assets, and digital asset transactions; willingness to deepen technical expertise.
• Professional AML certifications (e.g., CAMS, CBP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into unusual or suspicious activities, ensuring timely case resolution within regulatory deadlines.
• Assess financial crime risks across digital asset transactions and customer activity.
• Determine SAR/STR or STR referrals, or close non-suspicious cases with documented justification.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in line with legal requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Legal and internal teams; maintain investigation records with clear rationale.
