Real-Time EW Software Engineer (C++, RF)

STARK Defence is building the next generation of autonomous platforms capable of navigating the world’s most contested environments. We are currently hiring for multiple Software Engineering positions where the primary mission is to ensure our fleet maintains command, control, and situational awareness against near-peer threats.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum and modulation theory.
• Experience with LPI links, digital modulation, and RF propagation.
• Proficiency in embedded systems and Linux networking for mesh/point-to-point links.
• Exposure to jamming theory or cognitive radio for automatic interference avoidance.
• Strong systems design and implementation skills.
• Proficiency in modern C/C++.
• Interest in RF and RF processing fundamentals.
• Clear and structured communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance C++ software for real-time EW functions.
• Develop anti-jamming techniques, FHSS, and adaptive filtering.
• Design RF sensing and situational-awareness algorithms.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to tune RF front-ends.
• Own the stack from design and modelling to bench testing and field trials.
