Job summary

Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden is seeking a Systems Architect - RAN Semantic Data to shape how architecture decisions are captured and modeled. You will drive machine-readable artifacts and ensure traceability from requirements to implementation.

You will collaborate with RAN architects, system engineers and product teams to establish a common architectural language, with focus on knowledge graphs, RDF/OWL, and automated documentation pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in systems engineering, product development, or semantic data modeling.
• Ability to capture and maintain system designs in a structured, reusable, and maintainable manner, including machine-readable artifacts.
• Familiarity with Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j), Semantic Modeling (RDF/OWL), and automated documentation pipelines.
• Experience across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations and influencing adoption of new ways of working.
• Familiarity with architecture description standards such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 42010.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear outputs for technical and business audiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to build alignment around standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture modeling and decision management for RAN systems, ensuring consistency and traceability.
• Own and improve the capture and structure of architecture decisions as machine-readable artifacts.
• Define and promote standards, guidelines, and best practices for architecture capture and changes.
• Act as a driver for change in how architecture knowledge is captured and shared across units and projects.
• Evaluate and implement modern methods and tooling for architecture modeling and documentation pipelines.
• Stay informed on industry and academic developments and translate innovations into Ericsson’s practices.
• Collaborate with RAN architects, system engineers, product owners, and development teams to reflect actual system behavior in documentation.
• Mentor colleagues in new documentation practices and frameworks to build a community of practice.
