Job summary

Alstom Göteborg is seeking an Industrial Quality Inspector to support inspection and delivery of new trains to customers. You will report to the Northern RS Quality Director and contribute to zero-defect initiatives while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Key duties include leading customer inspections, maintaining CHB, and recording results in digital tools. A background in engineering and quality tools is required, with English fluency; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
• Knowledge of the railway industry norms and certifications would be an asset.
• Fluent English; Swedish would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework) according to Quality Control Plan.
• Lead customer inspections.
• Maintain the CHB (car history book).
• Take part in quality related investigations.
• Record inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required.
