Job summary

Saab Surveillance is expanding its Sensor Core Applications team and seeks a System Software Engineer to develop core software that powers radar sensor systems. You will work across the product lifecycle with colleagues from multiple disciplines to build robust, scalable solutions.

You will apply C++ development in Linux environments, embrace Agile methodologies, and contribute to testing, version control, and CI/CD practices within a collaborative, learning-focused team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C++ or a similar language; Linux-based development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core software applications powering radar sensor systems.
• Contribute across the product lifecycle from design to delivery with cross-disciplinary colleagues.
• Shape robust, scalable solutions and apply best practices including testing and CI/CD.
