Job summary

Saab in Sweden is seeking a field service engineer to service, install and maintain radar systems, including the Giraffe 1X, in domestic and international settings.

You will work with high-power electronics and complex interfaces, travel to high-risk areas, and collaborate with Saab Engineering teams to ensure system readiness and performance.

The role offers ongoing training, opportunities to progress within Saab, and exposure to military-grade sensors across Saab's portfolio.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand complex systems of systems and deploy to high-risk areas.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing environment with fault-finding and problem-solving in high-pressure settings.
• Willingness to undergo security vetting and Deployment Ready Training.

Responsibilities

• Support customers on-site domestically and internationally for radar systems installation, maintenance and verification.
• Manning customer support desks, training end users, and assisting with OEM production as needed.
• Support trials, deployments, and exercises globally in support of military operations and market growth.
• System integration and verification; assist with configuration management.
• Report and manage projects and training events as required.
