Job summary

Ytsab Defence AB, a Sweden-based defence technology company, seeks hands-on engineers to support R&D in our lab, handling testing, setup and diagnostics.

You will document tests and write internal and EU project reports, while assisting with experimental trials, component assembly, and troubleshooting. Collaboration with engineers, PMs, and international partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Education/experience in electronics (electrical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics).
• Ability to write clear technical reports and EU project documentation in English.
• Hands-on with lab work, experimental setups, testing and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Supporting R&D activities in our lab (testing, setup, diagnostics).

Ytsab Defence AB is a cutting-edge Swedish defence technology company specializing in electromagnetic weapon systems. We are involved in multiple EU-funded research projects, including projects under the European Defence Fund (EDF). We are now expanding our team with 2-3 skilled individuals to support our growing R&D and lab operations.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking hands-on, curious, and driven team members with the following qualifications:

• Education and/or experience in electronics (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics)
• Ability to write clear technical reports and documentation for EU-funded projects (in English)
• Flexibility and creativity to work with experimental setups and problem-solving in the lab
• Practical skills - confident with tools, measurements, soldering, setups, and testing
• Bonus: Experience with EU projects, military technologies, or prototyping environments
