Job summary

Olink, part of ThermoFisher Scientific, is seeking an R&D Tech Lead to guide product design and development within a cross-functional NPI team. The role ensures customer requirements translate into robust product outputs, with strict adherence to timelines and quality standards.

The candidate will lead immunoassay related development, coordinate validation activities, and manage technical risks across disciplines, contributing to innovative solutions in proteomics.

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Several years of proven experience in product development and R&D environments; immunoassay product development is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Product development lifecycle and Design control processes.
• Cross-functional project execution; demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution, coordination, and integration of product design activities by the R&D Extended team, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and deliver compliant design outputs.
• Coordinate validation and verification activities within development projects.
• Manage technical risks, issues, and escalations with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in cross-functional planning, decision-making, and risk management.
