Job summary

ConScience AB in Gothenburg, Sweden, is seeking a Quantum Measurement Engineer to advance superconducting quantum devices. You will set up measurements, analyze data, and develop reliable workflows for R&D and commercial projects, working with an interdisciplinary team.

You will be responsible for characterizing devices, calibrating parameters, and communicating results to colleagues and clients, while contributing to innovative quantum technologies.

Qualifications

• MSc in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering, computer science, quantum engineering, nanotechnology or related STEM field.
• Hands-on experience with experimental measurements and laboratory work.
• Experience with scientific programming and data analysis.
• Practical experience with sample handling and basic hardware assembly.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, conduct, troubleshoot and analyze measurements of superconducting quantum devices.
• Characterize and calibrate devices and evaluate key performance parameters.
• Develop and improve measurement protocols and experimental methods.
• Develop scientific software and data-analysis workflows.
• Prepare and handle samples, including mounting and basic hardware assembly.
• Analyze experimental data, identify trends and investigate sources of error.
• Document experimental methods, results and conclusions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, partners and clients to communicate technical results.
