Job summary

Intermodulation Products AB in Stockholm is seeking a highly technical Quantum Application Engineer to bridge our Presto platform with the global physics community. You will run live demonstrations, present at conferences, and provide pre-sales and post-sale technical support while traveling to customer laboratories.

The role suits a physicist who enjoys hands-on work with cryogenic and microwave measurements, and who communicates complex concepts clearly to researchers and engineers alike.

Qualifications

• PhD (preferred) or MSc in Physics, Applied Physics, Quantum Engineering, or a highly related field.
• Strong background in experimental physics with hands-on knowledge of microwave and low-temperature measurements.

Responsibilities

• Help existing and potential customers understand how the Presto platform solves specific measurement challenges in quantum tech and RF.
• Own, maintain, and present live technical demonstrations using our superconducting qubit setup.
• Represent the company at international scientific conferences, presenting our products at the booth and engaging with fellow physicists.
• Partner with the sales team to provide technical pre-sales support and system configuration advice.
• Assist customers with high-level technical support questions and troubleshooting.
• Travel to customer labs to spend time on-site, understanding their measurement pain points and workflows.
• Act as the voice of the customer, forwarding field knowledge and feature requests to our internal development team.
