Job summary

Alstom in Västerås is seeking a full-time Supplier Quality Warranty Engineer to strengthen our supply chain through rigorous quality assurance and NCR management. You will collaborate with procurement, engineering, and depot operations to monitor supplier performance, drive corrective actions, and support product introductions at depots nationwide, ensuring reliability.

The role requires a Masters in Quality, Engineering, or equivalent, knowledge of ISO/ASME/IRIS, SAP, and experience with 8D,

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Quality, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English; Swedish desirable.
• Experience in supplier management.
• Knowledge of ISO, ASME, IRIS, and local standards.
• Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) from various depots.
• Monitor and drive supplier performance for assigned suppliers and projects.
• Oversee supplier quality assurance processes and contribute to product introduction activities at depots.
