Job summary

3M Sweden, Gagnef plant, is seeking a Quality Engineer for the welding portfolio. You will drive improvements in production processes, participate in continuous improvement forums, and support departments on quality issues.

The role requires Swedish and English fluency and a technical background in quality or mechanical engineering. The position is on-site, full-time, temporary maternity coverage ideally from January to December 2027, with a focus on improving yield, stability, and process

Qualifications

Technical education in quality, production or mechanical engineering or relevant quality work experience.
Knowledge of root cause investigations and problem-solving methods.
Good knowledge of statistical methods and quality tools.

Responsibilities

Drive and participate in improvement activities within production and manufacturing processes.
Participate in meetings for continuous improvement within departments.
Work to improve yield, stability, and process capability.
Perform and facilitate root cause analyses for quality deviations and process issues.
Ensure quality issues are documented, analysed, and closed per processes.
Create, update and ensure compliance of quality documentation.
Provide support on quality matters to production, engineering and other functions.
