Job summary

Silverback is recruiting an experienced QA/QC Electrical Engineer to join their project team in Sweden. You will oversee quality standards across electrical installations, testing, documentation and handover activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining QA/QC documents, coordinating testing/commissioning with stakeholders, reviewing inspection records, and delivering complete handover packages to the client.

Silverback are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced QA/QC Electrical Engineer to join their project team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong electrical background and experience in quality assurance, inspection, testing, and commissioning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality standards across the project, ensuring electrical installations, testing, documentation, and handover activities are completed to the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection and test records, handover documentation, and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate electrical testing and commissioning activities with project teams, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Review inspection and testing documentation to ensure it is accurate, complete, and compliant.
• Compile and coordinate final handover documentation for the client.
• Monitor electrical installations to ensure they meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure defects and outstanding works are identified and closed out efficiently.
• Oversee testing activities to ensure they are carried out correctly and in accordance with project requirements.
• Work closely with the Construction Management Team and client representatives on quality and installation matters.
• Attend project quality meetings and provide updates on QA/QC activities.
• Contribute to weekly progress reports, providing updates on quality-related matters and outstanding actions.

Requirements

• Electrical trade qualification and/or a third-level qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 4+ years' experience in a similar QA/QC role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
• Ability to lead, support, and motivate teams while maintaining a strong focus on quality and delivery.
