Qualifications

• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining test code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with test automation in modern software development environments.
• Experience with testing across different layers of a system.
• Familiarity with tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Rest Assured, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to write test code that is robust, readable, and maintainable.
• Experience with containerized environments, database testing, or end-to-end testing is advantageous.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests across APIs, integrations, and user-facing applications.
• Identify areas for replacing repetitive manual testing with automation.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure, mocks, and synthetic test data.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable feedback loops.
• Analyze defects, quality risks, and testability in complex systems.
• Contribute to test strategy and testability.
