QA Engineer Role

We are looking for QA Engineers who see testing as more than checking features. You understand that testing makes risks visible and reduces uncertainty, and you care about improving not only the product but also how the team ensures quality. You enjoy methodical, structured testing, yet you are curious about automation, AI‑assisted tooling, and making testing smarter, faster, and better integrated into the delivery flow.

• Analyze user stories and requirements to identify risks and define test cases
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and exploratory tests
• Build and extend automated tests for UI, API, or backend
• Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Report and communicate quality insights, focusing on what the results mean
• Suggest and implement improvements in testing practices, tools, and processes, including leveraging AI to work smarter

What You Bring

• Structured and analytical testing skills
  • Strong understanding of structured and risk‑based test design, drawing from frameworks such as ISTQB or TMAP
  • Experience across different test levels including component, integration, system, and UAT
  • Ability to design, prioritise, and maintain test cases based on business impact and risk
• Automation and technical mindset
  • Hands‑on experience with modern automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Appium or Postman
  • Comfortable writing basic scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
  • Understanding of APIs, JSON, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
  • Treat automation as part of the product codebase, versioned, reviewed, and maintained
  • Actively explores how AI tools (GitHub Copilot, AI‑assisted test generation, or LLM‑based exploration) can support and enhance testing work
• Collaboration and communication
  • Works closely with developers, designers, and product owners to clarify and test assumptions early
  • Communicates findings clearly and constructively, focusing on understanding and action
  • Helps stakeholders make informed release decisions by putting risks into context
• Ownership, growth and continuous improvement
  • Actively invests in your own development, follows the field, experiments with new approaches, and pushes yourself to keep growing
  • Takes initiative to improve how the team works instead of waiting for others to define it
  • Brings ideas for smarter ways of testing or automating repetitive work
  • Contributes to making quality a shared team responsibility

Experience we’d Love to See

• 3 to 6 years of experience in QA, test engineering, or a similar quality focused role
• Experience working in agile, iterative delivery environments such as Scrum or Kanban
• Exposure to end‑to‑end digital product development across web, mobile, or backend systems
• Experience from consultancy or multi‑client projects is a plus
• Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
