Job summary

Axis Communications, Lund HQ, is seeking a Purchaser for the Materials Supply team. The role focuses on balancing inventory and ensuring product availability across multiple sites, while coordinating with Sourcing, Demand Planning, and Sales to meet demand.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in purchasing or logistics, experience with ERP systems, and strong data-driven analysis skills. Fluent in English; Swedish a plus. The position offers a permanent contract in Lund, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• A strong interest in data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish is considered an advantage.
• Bonus points for: Experience with statistical analysis; Experience working in the tech industry; Extended Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Balance inventory and ensure product availability for one or several product categories.
• Procure and manage inventory of the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with suppliers and plan procurement and with multiple inventory sites.
• Plan, release and manage purchasing orders.
• Synch and prioritize production and delivery plans with suppliers.
• Track and drive supplier performance related to supply.
• Drive an inventory management strategy to balance availability.
• Analyze and monitor inventory management KPIs and strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvements within processes and collaborations.
