Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Interface Manager to join a delivery project within the HVDC product group. The role focuses on coordinating and controlling interfaces across complex projects, enabling collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, and leading engineering teams to ensure smooth information flow and project success.

• Proactively identify, manage, and control interfaces in our complex project environment.
• Use interface management to facilitate cross-functional, cross-project collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead project engineering teams in collaboration with the Project Engineering Manager and Technical Project Lead Engineer.
• Ensure continuous and effective information flow across the project's internal and external interfaces.
• Work primarily with technical interfaces to support our core Engineering business.

The opportunity

HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufacture and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. As we continue to experience strong growth, we are now looking for a Project Interface Manager (PIM) to join one of our delivery projects.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• In this role you are responsible for proactively identify, manage, and control interfaces in of our complex project environment.
• You use interface management in a structured way to facilitate cross functional, cross project and cross organization collaboration between internal and external project stakeholders.
• Leading project engineering team or teams in an optimal way together with Project Engineering Manager and Technical Project Lead Engineer.
• You enable continuous and effective flow of information and communication across the project's internal as well as external interfaces.
• You work primarily with technical interfaces support our core business of Engineering.
