HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB is seeking a Production Lead for the Valve Assembly unit in Ludvika. You will oversee around 20 people, drive safe and agile leadership, and ensure capacity and skills to meet production deadlines. The role requires strong collaboration across Hitachi Energy units, suppliers, and customers to deliver results.

You will champion continuous improvement, manage changes with energy and commitment, and mentor the team to grow professionally within a diverse global company.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience and ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Technical education or relevant work experience with knowledge of production flows.
• Experience in project management or other leadership roles is an asset.
• Continuous improvement mindset and adaptability to change.
• Quality and result focus with a collaborative mindset.
• Swedish required for local collaboration; English skills are advantageous.

HVDC technology is used to transmit electrical energy over long distances with minimal losses. HVDC is also used to connect different power systems.

• You will be part of the Valve Assembly production unit and have responsibility for the work environment and workflow of about 20 people.
• Your important mission will be to enable your employees to grow and develop with safe and agile leadership.

• You will ensure the right capacity and competence for your production area to meet set deadlines and goals.

Your background

• As a leader you are open-minded, communicative and have the ability to motivate others.
• You are a driven person with technical education or equivalent work experience who has a good understanding of production flows; knowledge within Hitachi Energy and our product is meritorious.
• You have a wish to grow in a leadership role. Experience of project management or other leadership roles is a merit.
• Through continuous improvement in mind, you can handle change with energy, joy and commitment.
• You also have quality- and result focus and believe that collaboration is the key to success.
• Knowing Swedish is required for collaboration with local stakeholders. Fluency in English is preferable.
