Qualifications

• Production AI experience shipping LLm-powered applications and understanding prompt engineering, semantic search, and context window management.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean, modular code in Python and integration of AI services into a SaaS architecture.
• Ability to solve complex, abstract problems and build deterministic guardrails for legal tech AI systems.
• Entrepreneurial, fast-moving mindset with strong drive to impact core product.

Responsibilities

• Architect agentic workflows: design and maintain advanced multi-agent systems and long-running reasoning tasks.
• Optimize for accuracy and determinism: minimize hallucinations and formatting drift to meet patent filing standards.
• Model evaluation & tooling: benchmark, set metrics, guardrails to improve performance, latency, and cost.
• Stay on the bleeding edge: prototype and evaluate new models and embeddings to keep the platform at the forefront of LegalTech AI.
