Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Product Owner for Detect & Respond Platforms. You’re accountable for the success and value delivery of the products, defining the vision, strategy and objectives while ensuring a sustainable and effective way of working throughout the product lifecycle.

Based in Stockholm World Trade Center, you’ll collaborate with Cyber Defense, Security Operations and Group IT to prioritize roadmaps, backlogs and stakeholder needs, delivering measurable security outcomes and business value.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage, influence and communicate with technical and business stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Experience leading teams and suppliers, managing products or initiatives within security operations and engineering.
• Experience with product ownership, roadmap planning, backlog management and value-driven delivery in agile environments.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.

About Your Job

As Product Owner for Detect & Respond Platforms, you’re accountable for the success and value delivery of the products within this area. You create and communicate the product vision, strategy and objectives while ensuring a sustainable and effective way of working throughout the product lifecycle.

You work closely with the product team, Cyber Defense, Security Operations, and other teams in Group IT and key stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize roadmap and backlog to continuously improve our cybersecurity capabilities in this area. You play a central role in bringing clarity, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that the products deliver measurable security outcomes and business value, are fit for purpose and support Sandvik's evolving tech landscape.

Job Responsibilities

Location

This is an on-site position with Stockholm World Trade Center as the primary location.

Your profile

You bring a strong cybersecurity background with experience leading teams and suppliers, managing products, or initiatives within security operations and engineering. You have a proven ability to create direction, build engagement, and drive outcomes through a collaborative leadership style. A relevant degree in IT, or equivalent experience, enables you to effectively connect technology, product development, and operational needs. Your collaborative leadership style helps you create direction, build commitment and move work forward.

Your background includes

• Proven ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience working in large, global organizations and enterprise-scale cybersecurity platforms and capabilities.
• Expertise in detect and respond capabilities and platforms such as EDR/EPP, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, threat detection, vulnerability and exposure management, identity protection.
• Experience with product ownership, roadmap planning, backlog management and value-driven delivery in agile environments.
• Fluency in English, with knowledge of Swedish considered beneficial.
