• Solid understanding of payment infrastructure, APIs, and ledger systems.
• Experience with automation and AI to streamline financial workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and financial teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Payments, Accounting and Invoicing.

• Improve invoicing, billing and fee management through automation.
• Explore AI-powered solutions to automate financial workflows and improve efficiency.
• Lead product discovery, define requirements and prioritize the backlog with engineering.

About The Role

We are looking for a technically strong Product Manager to own and develop Nordiska’s Payments, Accounting and Invoicing capabilities.

You will drive the product strategy and development of scalable financial infrastructure, ensuring reliable payment processing, accurate financial data and efficient operations.

Working closely with Engineering, Finance, Treasury and Operations, you will turn complex financial challenges into impactful product solutions. The role combines strategic product leadership with hands‑on execution, with a strong focus on automation, scalability and business growth.

In the role, you will:

• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Payments, Accounting and Invoicing, aligned with business priorities and growth ambitions.
• Drive the development of payment infrastructure, transaction flows and integrations with external payment providers and partners.
• Develop scalable solutions for transaction processing, ledger management, reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Improve invoicing, billing and fee management through automation and streamlined processes.
• Explore and drive AI-powered solutions to automate financial workflows, reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead product discovery, define requirements and prioritize the backlog, working closely with engineering to deliver scalable solutions.
• Partner with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Risk and Compliance to balance commercial opportunities, technical requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Define and track KPIs related to payment performance, reconciliation accuracy, automation and operational efficiency.

Your Professional Profile

You are curious about emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation, and constantly look for opportunities to simplify financial flows and improve how businesses operate. You challenge existing ways of working, communicate clearly and take ownership from strategy to delivery.

We believe that you have:

• Proven product management experience, preferably within fintech, payments, banking infrastructure or financial platforms.
• Strong skills in product strategy, roadmaps and prioritization, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions.
• Solid understanding of payment infrastructure, transaction flows, APIs, integrations and ledger systems.
• Experience with financial processes such as reconciliation, accounting or invoicing, and driving automation and efficiency.
• Strong commercial awareness, balancing growth, scalability, operational efficiency and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and financial teams, combined with strong ownership and a proactive approach.
• Experience with payment schemes, payment service providers or banking-as-a-service, and knowledge of financial regulations or accounting principles, are advantages.
