HomeQ is Sweden's largest marketplace for first-hand rental apartments, connecting people with property companies across the country.

We’re a small, ambitious team using an adapted Shape Up process, delivering six-week cycles across Stockholm and Lisbon. As a Product Designer, you’ll own the full design process—from discovery to delivery—working with engineers and product teammates to build intuitive experiences for users and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience designing digital products and working closely with developers.
• Own full design process from user research to polished interfaces.
• Strong UX and UI skills; know when to focus on details vs simplicity.
• Comfortable using Figma and curious about new tools and AI.
• Understand why something is a problem before jumping into solutions.
• Able to make decisions independently in a small team.
• Thrive in a small team where everyone contributes beyond their job description.
• Communicate in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Own design projects end-to-end, from discovery and research to UX, UI, prototyping, and delivery.
• Solve real user problems by combining insights, creativity, and practical thinking.
• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Work closely with engineers to turn ideas into well-designed, functional products.
• Create intuitive user experiences for both people looking for homes and the property companies using our platform.
• Challenge existing solutions and continuously look for ways to improve our products.
• Contribute to our design practices, tools, and design system.
