About the Role
Mailjet is an email platform with strong product‑market fit, a loyal user base, and a team that genuinely cares about building something great. We're aiming to create a messaging experience that truly stands out, making this an exciting opportunity to have real impact and push design craft forward.
In this role, you'll own design for a specific product domain, working closely with product managers and engineers as a true partner in shaping what we build, why it matters, and how it comes to life. The role can be scoped as Product Designer or Senior Product Designer depending on your experience, as we value the quality of your thinking and craft over titles.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive discovery with PMs and engineers, ensuring we're solving the right problems.
- Raise the craft bar through thoughtful interactions, visuals, microcopy, and edge‑case handling.
- Help shape UI modernization as Mailjet's interface and brand evolve.
- Use research and data to continuously validate assumptions and inform decisions.
- Contribute to the design system to improve consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
- Collaborate with a passionate team that moves fast and takes pride in what they build.
Requirements
- Experience designing B2B SaaS products, ideally in self‑serve or product‑led environments.
- Strong design craft across layout, typography, interaction, and visual systems, with a clear point of view and the skill to execute.
- Comfortable owning the full design process, from discovery to delivery.
- Fluent in Figma and experienced with design systems.
- Outcome‑driven, focused on impact, not just output.
- Clear communicator and strong collaborator with PMs and engineers.
- A portfolio that shows your thinking, how you frame problems, make trade‑offs, and arrive at solutions.
- Our corporate language is English; please submit your application in English.
Nice to Have
- Excited about AI‑assisted design workflows and tools, or curious to dive in and explore them.
- Hands‑on experience with email platforms, messaging products, or developer tools.
- Familiarity with growth mechanics such as onboarding, activation, conversion, and retention.
