Essity in Sweden is seeking a Procurement Business Partner to bridge local operations and global procurement, ensuring strategies translate into site value. You will work with Global Category Managers, Buyers, and Supplier Quality teams to align procurement with operational needs.

The role involves visiting Falkenberg, Mölnlycke and Lilla Edet, building partnerships, managing supplier risk, and promoting sustainable sourcing. English and Swedish communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience within procurement, sourcing, or a similar business partnering role.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of supplier management, contract implementation and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with procurement and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main procurement contact for local stakeholders and manufacturing operations.
• Build strong partnerships across the business and ensure procurement is represented in local planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Global Category Managers and Buyers to support sourcing strategies and procurement initiatives.
• Ensure effective implementation of global and regional supplier agreements at site level.
• Support supplier onboarding, contract communication and user enablement activities.
• Drive stakeholder satisfaction by proactively identifying opportunities and resolving challenges.
• Provide procurement expertise and challenge demand to identify efficiencies and value-creation opportunities.
• Act as the first point of escalation for procurement-related matters, including supplier performance and quality issues.
• Support cross-functional projects by providing local business and operational insights.
• Identify procurement risks and work with Procurement, Sustainability and Supplier Quality teams to develop mitigation plans.
• Promote responsible sourcing practices and ensure sustainability considerations are integrated into local business activities.
• Represent Global Procurement in audits, supplier reviews and site visits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems, reporting and performance measurement.
