Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight in Gothenburg seeks a Privacy Manager to support the Data Protection Officer in daily operations of the global privacy program. You will assess new processing activities, vendors, and customer commitments in line with the JFF Privacy Framework.

The role handles routine privacy assessments, data subject requests, and privacy documentation, serving as a key operational contact for the business and collaborating with a global team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a privacy management or data protection advisory role.
• Very good knowledge of GDPR and familiarity with other privacy laws.
• Understanding of Controller and Processor roles; B2B software or SaaS experience is an advantage.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into practical guidance for technical and business teams.
• Privacy certification such as ECPC‑M, CIPP/M or similar is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Privacy by Design reviews and vendor and integration assessments, escalating complex or high-risk matters to the DPO.
• Handle data subject requests and customer privacy inquiries.
• Maintain the record of processing activities and other privacy documentation.
• Support personal data breach assessment.
• Support the review of customer and vendor data processing agreements.
• Contribute to the implementation of the Privacy Framework and the delivery of privacy training and awareness.
• Monitor regulatory developments and flag relevant changes to the DPO.

Role summary

The Privacy Manager supports the Data Protection Officer in the day-to-day operation of Jeppesen ForeFlight’s global privacy program. The role handles routine privacy assessments and requests, and is a key operational contact for the business, so that new processing activities, vendors and customer commitments are assessed and documented in line with the JFF Privacy Framework.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area of Gothenburg or relocate at their own expense.
