How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop, implement, validate, and deliver simulation models to customers in tenders and projects using various power system tools to support grid optimization and renewable integration.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including R&D and customers, to gather requirements and support the design of effective technical solutions.
- Create in‑loop software models of real‑time control functions.
- Perform testing and validation of power system models and associated tools.
- Conduct RMS simulation studies with customer networks.
- Prepare clear and structured technical documentation and reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practises in power system modeling.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by supporting, training, and collaborating with colleagues throughout project execution.
Your Background
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least three years of experience in power system analysis.
- Knowledge of or experience with power system simulation tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB, and EMTP.
- Experience or interest in programming (C++, C#, FORTRAN, DSL, Python, MATLAB), control theory, signal processing, and dynamic modelling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage.
